Orihuela Costa
The Orihuela Costa lies to the South of Torrevieja. This area is very popular with the tourists all through the year and the Spanish holidays here in the summer months. There are many beautiful beaches in the area, all carrying the blue flag for cleanliness and safety. Its beaches La Zenia, Cabo Roig, Playa Flemenca and Campoamor are a succession of sandy coves backing onto cliffs with crystal clear waters and soft golden sand. There are beach bars “chiringuitos” where you can enjoy traditional tapas, snacks and cold drinks whilst watching the world go by.

Costa Blanca
The Costa Blanca, or White Coast stretches from Denia in the north to Pilar de la Horadada in the south. To the south, the coastline has an amazing backdrop of white sandy beaches palm trees and salt lakes. The land is rich and fertile where fruit trees grow, pine forests, palm trees and small picturesque towns with traditional fiestas and friendly people. Alicante
Located in the middle of the Costa Blanca, Alicante is one of the most important tourist destinations in the Spanish east coast.The many golf courses, along with the tranquil waters of the Mediterranean Sea, are part of the appeal of this beautiful harbour city, which sits at the foot of the Castle of Santa Barbara, a silent witness to the numerous civilisations to have settled here. Alicante is also a land of deeply-rooted traditions, such as the Moors and Christians festivities, the most popular in Levante. The other fiesta par excellence is Noche de San Juan (the Night of Saint John) on the 24th of June. The main features of this festivity are the bonfires. As a tradition, ninots (papier-mâché effigies or rag dolls), which had been exhibited on the street of the capital city during the previous days, are burned at the stake on this night. Alicante's strategic location, right on the east coast, led to the settlement of the main Mediterranean civilisations over the centuries. Phoenicians, Greeks, Romans and later Arabs reached this coast in search of new trading routes, while at the same time contributing to the city's character. The city and its harbour are flanked by the Benacantil mountain, a rocky promontory crowned by the Santa Barbara fortress. From the top of the old walls you have a commanding view of the whole city, while enjoying the impressive coastline and many kilometres of the beautiful countryside. The coastline is, without a doubt, the favourite recreational spot for the people of Alicante. The Explanada de Espana promenade, located across from the port, is a lively boulevard dotted with terraces and pavement cafés. A more modern leisure area extends along the port's breakwater, where there are also many bars and restaurants. Next to both of these is the urban beach of El Postiguet, a privileged spot for enjoying the sea and the sun.

Orihuela Town
Orihuela, capital of the “Vega Baja” region, is placed on the south of the Valencian Community, on the so-called “Costa Blanca”. The history of the place, essentially Mediterranean, is represented by rich civil and religious historical and artistic heritage. Palaces, churches, convents and coats of arms take us back to days gone by.
Orihuela offers a whole gothic, Renaissance and Baroque world. Essential in the town has been the Segura River. It gives orgin to a complicated and perfect irrigation system dating back to the Arabs, wiich has permitted the development of an intensive growing of orange and lemon trees and vegetables, outstanding elements of its scenery.
Orihuela has got an extensive municipal area, from the mountains to the sea. It makes in itself a whole variety of spaces, from the towns and its rural environments spread through “La Vega”, to the coast with its fine sandy beaches and coves, all of them with a complete tourist infrastructure.
A few kilometres from its historical town centre , Orihuela has got 16km of coast.

Campoamor
The Royal de Club Campoamor has breathtaking views of the Mediterranean and the surrounding natural reserves. The club itself has many facilities to be enjoyed by all the family. Coming away from the golf club Campoamor has one of the finest beaches in the area and its very own marina, there are water sports galore, here you can enjoy jet skiing, water skiing, chartering your own boat and pedalo for the younger sailors. There are many fine restaurants and bars for you to sit and watch the sun go down.

Cabo Roig
Cabo Roig is popular with all nationalities and is famous for its beautiful coved beaches and its marina. There are many fine restaurants in the area and the nightlife is buzzing for all ages.
As with all the beaches in this area Cabo Roig carries the blue flag for safety and cleanliness. You can walk along the coast to La Zenia beach and take in the breathtaking views of the Mediterranean and the beautiful and stunning villas built around the cliffs edge.

Guardamar
Guardamar lays just 29kms south of Alicante airport and 38kms north from Murcia airport.
It stands at the mouth of the river Segura and is surrounded by 2500 acres of pine covered dunes all of which were planted to prevent erosion of one of Spain's finest beaches. Both the Guardamar and Pineda beaches are composed of the finest white sand and the smell of the pine trees which surround them makes for an unforgettable experience.
The beaches run for as far as the eye can see and are so large that even in peak season, there are days when they seem almost deserted.
Situated not far from Torrevieja and only 30 mins from Alicante, Guardamar is well served with shops supplying everything necessary for comfortable living. There are the usual restaurants, bars, cafes, etc. and for the young a water park and a miniature fairground are not too far away. On Sundays you can visit the Guardamar open air market where you will find everything under the sun.

San Pedro del Pinatar
San Pedro del Pinatar is where the Costa Blanca ends and the Costa Calida begins, this historical fishing village offers the true Spanish experience, an unspoilt town alongside the protected waters of the Mar Menor. The town offers all amenities such as shops bars and restaurants, or you can relax on one of the many beautiful beaches in the area, either on the shores of the Mediterranean or alongside the calm waters of the Mar Menor.
This area offers amazing health benefits with its nearby salt lakes where the locals bathe in the mud to help with rheumatic and dermatological conditions. There are many nature reserves in the area, the dunes off the beach of La Llana, form one of the most important natural areas of the region, and in which occurs the spectacular passage and resting place of the migrating flamingos to Africa. There are more than 100 species of bird that nest and rest in the dunes. Visitors can enjoy walks along the dunes and nature reserves or horse riding can be arranged for the more adventurous.
San Pedro offers a truly enjoyable and relaxing experience, for those that live here and for the many tourists that return year after year.
